In regards to Bitcoin. There are many types of cryptocurrencies. Literally, there are 1639 at last I checked. Something like Bitcoin Cash (which is trying to bank the unbanked) may be different then other coins. For example, it is free for someone in Africa to get a Bitcoin Cash wallet and store money. These same individuals might be denied a bank account by Western Standards. A Bitcoin Cash organization called eatBCH provides food aid to Sudan. I think more research is needed.
